Social and Behavioral Sciences Working Group on Human Research Protections
The Social and Behavioral Sciences Working Group on Human Research Protections is an interdisciplinary group of scientists established to examine and suggest ways to enhance the protection of human subjects in the social and behavioral sciences. The Working Group receives support for its activities from the National Institutes of Health's Office of Social and Behavioral Sciences Research. The Working Group conducts outreach to social and behavioral science researchers, enhances education and training regarding human subjects protection regulations and the review of social and behavioral science protocols, and prepares reports on topics within the human subjects protection system that need improvements. Dr. Felice Levine, Executive Director of the American Educational Research Association, serves as Chair of the Working Group.
