SIG Purpose

  1. To provide opportunities for the exchange of information among and between researchers and practitioners interested in issues related to bilingual education as well as linguistic/cultural issues related to language minority education, through presentations, discussions, formal and informal meetings, and publications.

 

  1. To encourage qualitative and quantitative, basic, applied, and policy research in the area of bilingual education, broadly defined.

 

  1. To promote research in bilingual education and providing a forum for innovative approaches in this field of inquiry.
