September 2012 The National Science Foundation (NSF) is currently accepting applications for grants for the Innovative Technology Experiences for Students and Teachers (ITEST) program. The goals of ITEST are developing, implementing, studying, and evaluating interventions that encourage K–12 students to become interested in science, technology, education, or math (STEM); producing research findings that build knowledge about approaches, models, and interventions; and equipping teachers with resources to encourage student interest in STEM and information and communications technology.
Four types of projects are funded through this program: strategies, research, scale-up, and resource center. Those interested in applying for a grant must submit a letter of intent to NSF by September 20, 2012. Full proposals are due November 13, 2012.
