The Institute of Education Sciences (IES) has announced several grant opportunities in its research centers for the 2013 fiscal year. Four of the competitions are in the National Center for Education Research (NCER), and three are in the National Center for Special Education Research (NCSER). 

The NCER competitions are

  • Education Research Grants (84.305A)
  • Research Training Program in the Education Sciences (84.305B)
  • Statistical and Research Methodology in Education (84.305D)
  • Researcher-Practitioner Partnerships in Education Research (84.305H)

The NCSER competitions are

  • Special Education Research Grants (84.324A)
  • Research Training Program in Special Education (84.324B)
  • Accelerating the Academic Achievement of Students with Learning Disabilities Research Initiative (84.324D)

Application packages for these grant competitions will be available July 19, with applications due on September 20. Interested applicants are encouraged to submit a Letter of Intent by July 19 for the competition to which they plan to submit an application.
