RECRUITING REVIEWERS
Each year Division H conducts an Outstanding Publications competition using the peer review process to recognize our colleagues' work in several areas typically not submitted to journals. To accomplish this, we depend on our members to review submissions. We are currently recruiting members to serve as reviewers for the 2016 competition. The work will involve reviewing between 1 and 5 submissions during January and February 2016. If you are interested in being a reviewer, please indicate your interest by completing the following brief survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2016OutstandingPubReviewer

Hello Division H members:
Division Vice Presidents are elected for a term of three years…36 months. As of this week, I have reached the half-way point in my term of office. AERA rules require that the incoming Vice President of each Division be elected during the second year of the sitting Vice President so that he or she will have the opportunity to shadow the sitting VP for a year before taking office as Vice President.
Three Division H members have been nominated for your consideration as the new Division H Vice President by the Division H Nominations Committee (chaired by Judy Arter, Immediate Past Division H VP). Each has served as the Division H Program Chair as well as in other leadership roles for the Division. Additional information about them will be included in an upcoming issue of Educational Researcher along with the candidates in other Divisions who have agreed to stand for election:
Rolf Blank, Ph.D., Senior Fellow in the Education and Child Development Studies Department, NORC at the University of Chicago
Vicki Cartwright, Ph.D., Orange County Public Schools, Senior Executive Director, Exceptional Student Education
Antionette (Toni) Stroter, Ph.D., Director of Evaluation, Title 1, Research and Evaluation, Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools
Early in 2016, Division H members who are current in paying their dues will have the opportunity to vote for the new Division H Vice President.
I thank Rolf, Vicki and Toni for agreeing to put their names forth to serve our membership for a year as the Vice-President-elect, for three additional years as Vice President and for a final three years as Chair of the Nominations Committee after their vice presidency ends.
Best,
Zollie
