Join Our SIG

We invite you to join pioneers in the field of Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) by joining AERA’s newly established SEL SIG. SIG members will have opportunities:

• To meet and network with colleagues who share their interest in SEL science, practice, and policy development
• To share the results of their own research and/or best practices in the field at SIG-sponsored sessions at AERA’s annual meeting
• Through events sponsored jointly with other SIGs, explore the wide-ranging scope of SEL’s connections to diverse educational approaches
• Through the SIG on-line newsletter and announcement listserv, access timely communications on SEL research studies and events
• Through participating in SIG business meetings influence the direction, focus, and growth of their SIG.

To join the SIG, please click on “member log-in” from AERA’s homepage at www.aera.net. Use your AERA member number and password to log on, and then click on “Special Interest Groups"  on the Member Welcome page. Follow the directions to register for membership in the SEL SIG. SIG membership dues are $10/year for members and $5/year for students. AERA members who have not previously joined a SIG must also pay a $7/year SIG assessment fee in addition to SIG dues.
