2017 Educational Change SIG Awards

Every year, the Educational Change Special Interest Group gives a Graduate Student Award and an Emerging Scholar Award. The Outstanding Grad Student Research Award and the Graduate Student Travel Award are given in alternate years.

The 2017 awards will consist of an Emerging Scholar Award and the Outstanding Graduate Student Research Award. The 2017 award applications will be available in the Fall 2016.

Congratulations to the 2016 Educational Change SIG Awardees

Dr. Santiago Rincon-Gallardo, Post Doctoral Fellow, Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, University of Toronto (Canada), received the our Emerging Scholar Award. 

Na Mi Bang, Doctoral Candidate, The University of Iowa (USA), received the Graduate Student Travel Award. 

The awards were presented during our Educational Change SIG Business Meeting at AERA Washington, DC.

Congratulations to the 2015 Educational Change SIG Awardees

Dr. Chris Brown, the Institute of Education (UK), received the our Emerging Scholar Award. 

Michael Thier, the University of Oregon (USA), received the Outstanding Graduate Student Research Award. 

The awards were presented during our Educational Change SIG Business Meeting at AERA Chicago.
