Guest Presentation: Anne Hickling-Hudson
Anne Hickling-Hudson is an Associate Professor in the School of Cultural and Language Studies in Education. Widely published, she is a pioneer in using postcolonial theory as a technique of comparative education.
Her research focus is on analysing educational policy and national development, teacher education and the intercultural curriculum. She has been deeply involved in socio-educational reform, curriculum design and the education of teachers in decolonising societies, and worked with the late Paulo Freire to prepare teachers in the Caribbean for educational change.
