The two Graduate Student Award recipients in 2014 are Jin Liu (at the left) from University of South Carolina and Joe McIntyre from Harvard University. Awards were presented by Honor Awards Chair, Rich Lambert. The SIG on Survey Research in Education presents up to two monetary awards annually of $300.00 each to recognize and promote graduate students’ research interests in survey methodology. We encourage full time graduate students to submit their survey methodology-related paper proposals to our SIG through the AERA submission process. After they are accepted, they contact Dr Rich Lambert, Chair, SIG Graduate Student Award Committee, for consideration in the final selection process. A preliminary selection of candidates is based on the results of the AERA proposal review process, and the final selection is made on the quality of the full papers. Criteria: 1. Full-time graduate student 2. Scheduled presenter in a SIG on Survey Research in Education ses-sion at the forthcoming AERA Annual Meeting 3. Proposal’s high rating in the proposal review process 4. Submission of the full paper one month prior to the forthcoming AERA Annual Meeting 5. Economic or other need factors —Rich Lambert, Honors Award Chair
