After following the appointments of Drs. Alberto Rodriguez, Bernard Ricca, and Bruce Waldrip as SIG Chairs, I am honored to be a member of the ST&L community.  In the last two years, the SIG has accomplished the following:

* The creation of three ST&L Travel Grants for those who might otherwise lack the funding to support their participation in AERA: Early Career Researcher, Doctoral Student, and Mid-Career Researcher from a UNDP (value 0.7 or less) from an under-resourced country

* Support local businesses to host the ST&L Business meeting

We continue to create a platform that supports the important work of visionaries and innovators of our SIG membership. With your continued engagement, we can continue to influence the discourse in science and STEM education, and SIG practices at AERA.
