Measurement and Assessment in Higher Education SIG 64

SIG Purpose
Print

This SIG focuses on assessment and measurement issues in higher education, specifically those related to student learning outcomes. The SIG strives to provide a place for advanced dialogue on issues of assessment and to promote a professional space for discussion around using assessment results to improve student learning. We emphasize practitioner research, theoretical conceptualizations of using assessment evidence to improve, and evidence that use of assessment results has led to actual improvements in student learning.

If you are conducting work in this area, we highly recommend submitting a proposal to the SIG's paper session.
