Profiles in Research is a series of interviews with outstanding researchers who have advanced the field of education and behavioral statistics. Initiated in 2003 as part of the Journal of Educational and Behavioral Statistics, the series offers readers an understanding of the development of the field through the lens of some of its leading scholars. The American Educational Research Association proudly offers open access to these interviews to students, education researchers, statisticians, and all others interested in the history and sociology of research fields.
